I started writing a new book about a year and a half ago. I was just like any other writer who saw the live-action Little Mermaid movie in theaters and rushed home, excited to put my own twist on a retelling. As usually happens when I sit down to write, my mind got ahead of me, and a silly standalone turned into a whole magical world filled with fully-fledged characters and mysteries yet to be uncovered.  

Well, fast forward to today, and I am putting the finishing touches on The Ocean Curse, the first book in a new series, Ripples of Magic.
